The Alewife Poncho is a top-down garment that is worked flat, from the neckline down then joined together by the rolled neckline that is worked in the round. The main portion of the poncho is worked with increase every row on the outer edges and every other row in the middle of the piece. There is a 6 row stitch repeat to create the purled rows.
